Dance artist, educator, and researcher

As a researcher, I focus on stage and performative corporeality: body image and the dynamics of bodily presence in the history of art, musical theatre, dance, performance art, and pop culture. As an artist, I explore interdisciplinary approaches and use bodily practices as a key to recognising other media. As a performing arts educator, I work primarily with children.

I am based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Background

My artistic experience covers academic theatre (drama, ballet), musical theatre, contemporary dance, and performance art.

My movement background includes ballet, folk, variety, ballroom, character, urban dance, jazz, somatic practices, and contemporary dance techniques.

My research approaches are grounded in knowledge that spans the human sciences, performing and performance arts history, and music theory.

As a performing arts educator, I draw on my diverse movement and artistic experiences, tailoring my approach to the specific needs of each case.
